I am a 39 year old female with a history of migraines(3-4 days per month) in the past 2 years until two months ago. My headache started on Nov 1 and is constant. It is severe at times including vomiting and nausea and sharp pain and sometimes is a tension headache but it never goes away. I have tried everything midrol pack, toradol, nerve block, IV infusions and nothing has helped. The abortives help for a day and the next day the level of pain and nausea increases. In addition, i have dizziness which never happened before. I have taken aimovig in Nov and am hoping it will start working but at this point I am getting no relief. I am not really sure what to do. I take phenargen every other day because the nausea is so bad sometimes and have tried all these abortives with no relief. I understand it takes time until the preventatives kick in and I am hoping there is something out there to help until a find a preventative that works.
Thank you for your help!
