Ongoing Chronic Headache
I have a 16-year old vibrant daughter, that in August 2013, came down with a cold virus and has had a severe HA ever since. They called it a post-viral HA.Her pain is about 9-10 daily and has affected her school/social life.Have seen three neurologists in ATL. They tried the following drugs:
We also had a spinal tap, Angiography done and were negative. Completed Botox injections and an Ocipital nerve bloce to no avail. Also tried accupuncture/cupping for relief.
We have made four trips to the ER and had the Raskins Protocol done which helped, and one done with DHE.
Went to Cincinnati HA Ctr twice and first diagnosed it as NDPH, three months later diagnosed it as a Chronic migraine. She has sharp temple pains and has just recently moved to the back of the head also.
