What type of headache do I have?
I started getting a headache when I was about 10 years old (am about 40 now)
At 23 years of age it started being a one sided headache on the right side only till now
It can stay 2-3days
Recently when I lie down looking up in a certain position on the right I get dizzy and everything spins but if I just tilt my head just a little bit I become perfectly normal
Normal medicines like paracetamols, etc do nt work for me anymore. The pain is normally concentrated in the top side right mostly. I don’t get an aura, but if the headache comes am very sensitive to smells
Please help. What medicine should I use. Plus the dizziness-vertigo is two weeks old

It always disturbs me when I hear about a lifelong history of pain that isn't managed well. It is a little difficult to say what is going on as there are so many different types of headaches. Although it would be easy to assume it is migraine, the fact that it is 100% of the time on the right side of the head points away from that.
Chronic tension type headache can present this way.
The real flag is the dizziness. Although vertigo can happen with headaches, positional vertigo (occurs or relieved with positional changes) needs a further work up.
You do not mention where you live in Kenya but I would recommend you seek the services of a neurologist in Nairobi. Here is a list of neurologists in Kenya and hopefully one of them will be able to help you. If you have not had an MRI of the brain that is also a recommendation. Remember, more is seen on an MRI than a CT of the brain.
