migraine(nauseoues,tired,numbness of body ibs)
I'm a 30yr old female from South Africa , been suffering wit headache for as long as I can rem ,its an everyday struggle , being constipated n bloated all d time as well ,I do smoke but have cut dwn a lot found it 2b a comfort zone for my evryday struggle of a headache n daily chores as a house wife .the headache are permantly d pain on d left of my head n face my facial bones a severely painfull feels like banging it against a wall @ time ,sever abdominal pains on d left as well numbness of limbs n fingers joins are painfull . Pls cld u advice me
You answered part of the question yourself..smoking! The nicotine in the cigarettes binds to nerve tissue and excites it. You should think of your headaches as a "hyperexcitable" condition in the brain because of the chronic pain. The nicotine serves to make it worse. If you are using it as a coping mechanism, you need to find better outlets, such as exercise.
If you have not yet seen a doctor because of this, please do so, preferably a neurologist if you can find one.
