Glasses causes migraine

by rebecca
(indiana)

Everytime i put on a pair of glasses prescription or sunglasses i get a really bad migraine what causes this

Answer:

Hi Rebecca,
Without more information it is difficult for me to give you an answer. How do you know it is a migraine? Are you nauseated, throwing up and light and sound bother you?

Or is it just the fact that glasses press on the muscles at the temple and cause a headache,..which most probably is a tension type headache.

Either way talk to your doctor to be sure.

Good luck!
