Friends With Headaches

by Imelda
(California, US)

I can't submit a question because I don't get headaches. I don't really know why, I just feel very fortunate that I am headache free.

I see people (family and friends) suffer with headaches and migraines and wonder what causes them and why I'm spared.

As I looked around your site, I realized that there are tons of things that can go haywire and make you end up with a headache. Now I feel even more fortunate to be spared, I hope it continues.

Imelda

P.S. I love your site, it's very professional, informative and pleasing to the eye.

Answer

Hi Imelda,

Thank you for the compliment. Many hours of work went into the site but I do feel it has become a good resource for patients and their families.

Feel free to mention it to those around you who have migraine headache symptoms.

"Haywire" is a good description! That's kind of what happens in the brain during a migraine..or at least that is how people feel.

Take care,
Mary Kay Betz MS RPA-C
